The nature of ICT in the context of your life, society, and professional track

 

                 Information Communication Technology is one of the economic development pillars to gain national competitive advantages. It can improve the quality of human life because it can be used as a learning and education media. Technology has simplified the access to many necessary tools in education, communication, industry, transformation and etc. It has a great impact in every individual, in the society, and particularly in the specific choice of a professional track.

 

                  ICT has an impact on nearly every aspect of our lives, from working to socializing, learning to playing. The digital age has transformed the way young people communicate, seek help, access information and learn. We must recognize that young people are now an online population and access is through variety of means such as cellphones, computers and tv. ICT has become an integral part of everyday life for many people. It increases its importance in people’s lives and it is expected that it will improve and grow in the future.

           

                 ICT is important in our daily life because it helps us make our task easy and fast. In society, transactions, food deliveries, money transfers, and etc. become so easy and reliable that we don’t need to go outside to do it and we can just easily do it online. It great for our society because it gives people opportunity to work in their homes also reducing to the need of travel into their works or offices. It can also give opportunity to businesses to expand and grow through the use of social media. Another impact of ICT, especially in this pandemic is online shopping, it is popular all over the internet like shoppe and Lazada.

              

                 As a student, ICT helps me in my studies. It has a great way of learning and it has the easiest way in accessing information in the internet.  Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) is my chosen professional track. ICT helped me in many ways such as complying in my projects and gathering information in my assignments and researches. It provides a lot of information, knowledge, and skills related to STEM and because of this I am positive that I can finish my chosen professional track confidently.

 

                  Technology make our lives so much easier and it can help us in many ways such we can communicate easily; we can gather information and we can help small business to grow and earn money through technology. However, there can be more bad effect if we didn’t use it right.
